Cold forged steel buildings are usually the better choice for small shop buildings where you do not want to sacrifice strength but have a budget as well.

Red iron is usually for larger shops, Barndominiums, warehouses, etc.. This is due to its long clear span potential and overall strength.

Post Framing is more for barndominium life style where you are working with a budget, these are designed to handle most of what a red iron building usually with wooden trusses & purlins. This is a much more affordable option due to both material and labor. These kits are more DIY friendly due to wood being able to get your hands on & if you are not a welder.

Hybrid building is usually used for both home builds and commercial space, this is the best of both worlds because metal buildings let alone are prone to window or door trim leaking, so by building hybrid you are getting the structure of the red iron but also getting the home waterproofing the wood has to offer with being able to properly seal doors and windows.
